delivery and installation.

of workmanship and quality. They are not contracted out to other companies,
this gives you the comfort in knowing your kitchen is installed exactly
how it was planned.
Installation of your new kitchen joinery normally takes between 1-2
days.
Once the kitchen is installed final finishing's like final coats of
paint, plumbing and electrical work will need to be completed adding an
extra day to the installation process.
Kitchen Benchtops
At Joinery Effects we deal with a large range of kitchen
benchtops. giving you the option of choosing the best bench surface for your
needs.
Natural Stone
is considered the top of the range choice for your kitchen
benchtop, with Granite as the most commonly used material and chosen for its
proven durability and lasting value. Granite worktops are available in
polished and matte finishes, are heat, scratch and wear resistant, but
require sealing to prevent staining and are expensive. Granite is a natural
material that comes in a variety of patterns and hardness. There are very
attractive granites and no two slabs are the same so each benchtop is
unique. The price varies enormously depending on the variety and where it is
quarried. It is cheaper to quarry in India than above the Arctic Circle in
Norway for instance.
Engineered
Stone
is a composite product which uses granite chips as its main component and
adds resins to create a uniform stone surface. It is non porous, has good
scratch, heat and stain resistant properties and does not require additional
sealing, but is expensive. Formed under huge pressure they are very strong
and provide a hard, attractive and durable work surface. There is a great
choice of colours and patters from various manufactures.
Engineered stone tends to be
more expensive than the cheaper granites and at least as expensive as
granite. It does share similar characteristic to natural stone in use, the
major advantage of engineered stone is that it is manmade and therefore
colours and patterns are reliable. The Kitchen benchtop you get is likely to look
the same as the sample.
Stainless
Steel
Stainless
Steel is highly durable, heat and stain resistant but does scratch (although
the patina of scratches gives depth to the surface over time and they come
to provide a depth to the benchtop). Mid-range in price, Stainless gives a
kitchen a strong, modern and functional feel.
High
Pressure Laminate (HPL)
is traditionally the most commonly used kitchen worktop protection and
available in endless patterns, textures and colours. New laminates are being
launched providing depth and texture for a new luxurious look. Better
abrasion resistant surfaces are being engineered to provide improved wear
and scratch resistance. A wider range of edge finishes can be achieved, such
as tight radius bending "Tight-Roll".
HPL is comparatively inexpensive, is non porous, resists staining and is
easy to clean. Although the surface is less scratch resistant, with normal
care the benchtop will last for many years.
Timber
Kitchen Benchtops
Of all the more popular
benchtop materials timber is probably the least utilitarian. It can look
particularly good in a period or country kitchen yet there are designers who
create great effects in contemporary kitchens. It does require care and
attention to keep in pristine condition, and, although easily scratched or
damaged, is easy to repair.
The most important aspect of
buying a kitchen benchtop is to only buy a top quality one. Timber can be
prone to movement and cracking, especially in the kitchen environment.
Choose your manufacturer carefully. Be careful to ask about the guarantee
and only use a manufacturer that fully backs its product over time. A timber
benchtop should be kept as dry as possible. It must be waxed and polished
regularly to retain its lustre. A good manufacturer will provide you with
the correct care products.

BLUMOTION drawer runners, makes everything easier to find.

When planning
a new kitchen or simply remodeling an existing one, many aspects have to be
taken into consideration. Factors such as the size of your household and
your individual lifestyle define your personal needs. Most new kitchen
buyers want more storage space and organization in their kitchens which can
be customized to individual needs using the ORGA-LINE drawer dividing
system. This extensive drawer dividing system, in conjunction with full
extension TANDEMBOX plus BLUMOTION drawer runners, can be laid out to suit
