T o whom it may concern
I thoroughly recommend the service and work of Joinery Effects Limited.
In late 2007, Andre and his team at Joinery Effects Limited designed, built,
and installed a large new kitchen as part of wider renovations that we
carried out to our house. We really wanted to ensure that we ended up with a
good quality, great looking, but very practical kitchen, and that is exactly
what we have received from Andre and his team.
Andre was extremely patient, good natured, helpful, and friendly as we
"ummed and aarghed" and made up our minds in relation to the various
colours, products, and designs for our kitchen. He gave us great practical
advice and perspective on things like the size of the bench and cupboard
space that we would have if we chose various options. He also gave us colour
samples to hold on to while we made up our minds which was extremely useful.
The finished product is great. Andre and his team did a great job of
installing it over the course of 1 long tiring day for them. The quality and
workmanship is excellent - there are no scratches or marks and they really
took great care of our house while installing the kitchen. We are extremely
happy with our new kitchen. It fits perfectly, it looks fantastic and we
love working in it as the design is so practical and user friendly.
We are very happy with the service and the product that Joinery Effects
Limited delivered to us and we thoroughly recommend them.

We had a problem kitchen job. We wanted to retain our
existing Rimu joinery and modernise the kitchen around it. The existing
joinery was far from square; because of gas regulation changes we had issues
with our gas stove; the rangehood wasn't vented ... the list of problems
went on.
When we first had Andre around he instantly identified
all of the problems and then started giving us solutions. He wasn't negative
and didn't try to talk us out of keeping our existing cupboards. What was
particularly helpful was that he outlined 3 options for changes - each one
involving different trade-offs, different degrees of change and costs.
We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome - the kitchen
looks awesome. The changes that Andre and the team made have been
professionally implemented, they coped with all of the tricks of our old
joinery, and the usability of the whole room has been significantly
increased.
We would definitely recommend Andre and the team at
Joinery Effects for any kitchen alterations.

In February 2007, My wife Jocelyn and I commissioned André Froggatt of Joinery
Effects, Lower Hutt, to construct the joinery for renovations to our existing
kitchen. André was recommended to us by Geoff Henderson of Henderson Brothers
Builders.
From the outset, we were impressed by Andre's attention to detail in
drawing up the plans. The finished work bears testimony to the skill of Andre
and his staff.
One aspect of the work which particularly pleased us, was the retention of
two ribboned glass doors which had been a feature of the kitchen for seventy
five years. These had to be incorporated carefully into new doors for the
existing china cabinet.
André's suggestion for the colour scheme of Melteca facings to tone with the
benchtop we had chosen was confidently accepted by us.
The positioning of the Meile cooking hob, Meile wall oven, sink bench,
cupboards and a new corner cabinet have provided us with a very attractive and
workable kitchen area. All this work contributes admirably to , and maintains
the character of our home.
Our Kitchen has already been much admired and we have no hesitation in
recommending Joinery Effects to prospective clients.

We are very happy with the new kitchen you helped us design for our home. We are so pleased with the end result I thought I would express it in writing.
Our kitchen looks a million dollars and is very functional. It arrived just as we had discussed the design with you.
My wife especially loves the Rimu chopping board especially made to fit the
sink.
Everything fits perfectly and the quality and finish are excellent. I watched
the kitchen transform as it was being installed. I appreciated the care and perfection as it was being installed. Everything is perfectly level and secured to the studs in the wall.
Kitchens are always prone to problems and believe me ours was no exception. We had no problems at all with Joinery Effects. Everything was ready and delivered/installed on time and arrived without damage.
We have had friends and family view our kitchen and are amazed by the
transformation and stagger to comprehend its the same room.
We have recommended Joinery Effects to our family and friends and we will continue to do so.
Once again thank you for all your time and effort in this transformation.

“I am writing to you to say thank you to you and your team for creating and installing my kitchen. It was gratifying to see the end result was just as I had envisaged. The Side table is a beautiful feature with the oak, which continues the style and theme throughout my home. I have recommended your business to some of my friends who are thinking of upgrading their kitchens in the near future.”

Just a wee note to thank you for the prompt service with the measuring, making and fitting of the pantry cupboard. The 2 young men were very nice to have around doing the job.
Carol Ferguson, Lower Hutt
We want to thank you for the superb job you and your workman have done installing our new kitchen. Thank you for your suggestions for minor changes which improved our original design.
The quality of workmanship on the bench, cupboards and shelves is excellent and the installation was on schedule with minimal disturbance to us.
We would have no hesitation in recommending your company to anyone wanting a new kitchen.

In late 1998, my partner and I approached Joinery Effects to renovate our
kitchen.
Our contact there - André Froggatt was very prompt and efficient in his
dealings with us, and had a methodical way of completing things.
He started by asking exactly what we needed incorporated into the new kitchen,
and from there designed some plans based around a couple of different options.
Typical of a 1950's house, the existing kitchen was very pokey, with a hot
water cylinder taking up so much room that even a basic necessity like the
fridge needed to be in the dining room. With a gap of approximately 45 - 50 cm
between the benchtop and cupboards that ran the length of the wall and extended
to the ceiling, the space also felt quite dark and closed in.
André had some brilliant ideas about how to open the space up, actually
giving us additional cupboard space, and floor area to what we'd previously had.
He presented us with some basic sketches on the spot, and once we'd agreed on
the overall layout, he came back to us with scale plans. Joinery Effects were
able to provide us with the complete package, with benchtops, colour options and
cupboard handles etc all available to choose from with out having to visit the
showroom.
The actual installation was completely hassle free for us and completed
within a day. The pre prepared cupboards, benches etc were delivered and the old
units removed. Due to all the prep work, from there it was simply like fitting a
jigsaw puzzle together.
I was very impressed both with the service and workmanship provided by Joinery
Effects, and have no hesitation in recommending them to others who are completing renovations.
I am currently employed in a home lending role and keep a supply of the
company's business cards handy for any of my clients who are purchasing "do it
up" properties.
